Chris Stanbra was born in Romford and went to school in Harold Wood, Essex and Menai Bridge, Anglesey. He moved to in Corby in 1981 and has lived on the Danesholme estate since 1993. Chris is married with two grown up children who both went to local schools. He is a self employed bookkeeper and accountant.
Chris has served as both Borough and County Councillor in Corby, and was recently re-elected to Northamptonshire County Council. He very much enjoys the role, especially working with local people to help them get improved council services. He also enjoys campaigning on behalf of local residents for effective results. Chris is standing as a candidate for Parliament so he can do the same for people across all of Corby and East Northamptonshire. If he is elected he will devote his full time to his duties as the elected representative of the people.
