Mid-Week Meetup - Thursday March 2, 2017 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM 4-5 Martin Street Stafford ST16 2LB
We're resuming the mid-week meetups on the first Thursday of the month at a new venue in Stafford - the Kitchen Corner in Martin Street.
Come along on Thursday evening and meet up with other LibDems and friends in an informal setting. This is a chance to get to know each other, and to chat about the the party and current events - we'll pick a topical subject for the evening. Members and their guests welcome - call in for just 10 minutes and a quick coffee, or have some food with us and stay all evening.

The evening will involve a fun quiz based on general knowledge, after which there will be plenty of time just to chat to other members, or to grab a bite to eat. What's more, there will also be a special prize for the winners and a raffle for the evening - so lots of reasons to come along. :-)

Canapés and drinks and a chance to socialise with guests followed by our keynote speaker, Lib Dem Peer Liz Barker. This will be followed bu a panel session with our County Council candidates for the Mole Valley divisions of Surrey County Council.

Dan Farthing and Neil Ross have been busy calling on thousands of local people. Their campaign is going really well. We need to get the message out to more and more people to make victory possible on 4 May.
Our Office at 4 Grange Road, Edinburgh EH9 1UH will be open from 10am until at least 12:30pm for members, volunteers and supporters to collect leaflets and letters to deliver then or later/

Future Women MPs Weekend
The Campaign for Gender Balance (CGB) and the Diversity & Talent Support Team are pleased to announce that this year’s Future Women MPs Weekend will be held on Saturday 4 – Sunday 5 March 2017 at the Jurys Inn Hotel in Milton Keynes.
Future Women MPs weekend is an intensive residential training weekend for any aspiring female MPs within the party; whether you are already an approved candidate or are yet to take that initial first step, this is the perfect way to kick start your journey to Westminster. Jo Swinson, Tessa Munt and Jenny Willott all started their successful quests for a seat in Parliament at a FWMPs Weekend, and so could you!
As well as expert advice on your political career you will also receive:
- Information and advice on all aspects of the process from selection to standing for Parliament
- Personalised advice and guidance from top party trainers and representatives
- A chance to ask any burning questions and address any concerns you may have
- A fantastic opportunity to network and make useful contacts with other aspiring women within the party
Previous attendees have described the weekend as “inspiring”, “empowering” and “'Some of the best party training I have experienced’’

The weekend will cost £75, covering accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch & light refreshments) and training. This fee will be waived for those unwaged or unable to pay.
Street stall in Canterbury High Street from 10am to 1pm in support of the party's European Action weekend. We will also be delivering target letters in Canterbury.
