DELGA
Liberal Democrats for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equality (DELGA) is the officially recognised party organisation committed to promoting the policies of the party to gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people, and to ensure that the party's policies address their needs.
DELGA has a number of regional groups that actively campaign on local issues and arrange social events. All party members are welcome to join (minimum £5, recommended: £15 waged / £5 students and unwaged / £25 for couple at the same address) and receive regular newsletters and briefings.
DELGA also provides support and advice to Lib Dem campaigners on LGBT issues and works with local Lib Dems in organising our party presence at key events within the LGBT communities such as Pride festivals. They have a regularly updated website.
You can download a form to join DELGA here (pdf format).
