Labour's cashflow crisis reveals astonishing mismanagement - Lamb
28 November 2006

Mr Norman Lamb

Commenting on the Labour Party’s admission that it is suffering from acute cashflow problems, Menzies Campbell’s Chief of Staff, Norman Lamb MP said:

"It is absurd that the Labour Party has got itself into this position. It appears to be the case that their ability to continue trading as a political party may now be dependent on persuading multi-millionaire supporters not to call in substantial loans.

"Whilst the blame lies principally with the Labour Party’s own astonishing mismanagement of their finances, this further underscores the urgent need for reform of party funding."
