Responding to the crash of British helicopter in
Basra, Nick Harvey MP - the Liberal Democrats' Shadow Defence Secretary -
said:"This is an appalling incident. Our thoughts are with the injured and with the families of the bereaved.
"What is needed is a clear exit strategy to establish the basis upon which British troops would be returned home."
