Women Liberal Democrats (WLD) is the party's official women's organisation and is open to all party members.
WLD encourages, advises and trains women to participate fully throughout the party and attain public office.
WLD influences party policy by taking a leading role in debates and seeking to set the agenda on issues that effect women. They actively campaign for equality of opportunity both locally and nationally.

Campaign for Gender Balance (CGB)
The Liberal Democrat Campaign for Gender Balance is a party initiative to promote balanced gender representation within the parliamentary party. The Campaign attempts to achieve this through positive action rather than positive discrimination, and is proactive in seeking out, training, mentoring and providing practical support to potential women candidates.
