LIBERAL YOUTH
LIBERAL YOUTH (formerly Liberal Democrat Youth and Students) is the youth and student wing of the party. All party members under 26 and who are students are automatically members of the organisation. Those aged 26 to 30 can still join, but have to pay a small membership fee. LIBERAL YOUTH's structure echoes that of the Federal Party. The organisation is lead by an elected federal Executive Committee and has elected International, Policy and Conference Committees. LIBERAL YOUTH produces campaign materials and organises an annual freshers fayre campaign at FE and HE colleges around the country. It also organises it own bi-annual conferences, where members pass the organisation's own policy and works with the youth wings of sister parties in Europe and around the world.
