Lisa Smart: Top tips for canvassing & engaging voters
Lisa is the current PPC for Hazel Grove [which was recently held by Andrew Stunell from 1997 - 2015] and is an experienced trainer and campaigner. Lisa will also be available for a general Q&A session on being a PPC.
12pm Saturday:
Tessa Munt: Fundraising
Tessa was the MP for Wells between 2010-2015 and is the current PPC there. An experienced fundraiser, she'll be sharing best practice and innovations that enabled her to take up elected office.
10am & 12 noon on Sunday:
Elaine Bagshaw: How to engage young voters
Elaine is the current PPC for Poplar and Limehouse and is an experienced campaigner who will be sharing how she has been making great progress in an area of London which previously had next to no activity.
12 noon Sunday:Carl Quilliam: Top tips for first time candidates
Carl was a first time PPC in 2015 and is the current candidate for Wimbeldon. He'll be sharing many of the skills he picked up as well as advising on how he stood in a constituency he did not live in.
These sessions will cover many of the skills tested at candidate assessment days, so if you are interested in candidacy do come along!
