Liberal Democrats

Pie & Politics Virtual Dinner Party

Pie and Politics with Vikki Slade

Salisbury Liberal Democrats are delighted to invite you to join us for an evening of fine food, fine wine and fine conversation... in a virtual manner.

At 8.00pm on Friday 26th March we will be hosting a virtual dinner party via Zoom. We will supply the meal, we will supply the wine, we will supply a guest speaker. All you need to supply is the sparkling conversation.

We are working with locally renowned event caterer Forking out to provide your choice of Steak and Ale, Chicken and Leek or Cheese and Broccoli Pie served with Creamy Mashed Potato and Veggies. For a little extra we can supply a bottle of wine as well, Merlot or Sauvignon.

  • Food orders have now closed, but you can still join us for a fantastic evening of political chat.

We will be running an Auction on the evening, full prize details to follow later but highlights include personalised marmalade, an afternoons gardening and an offer to bake something of your choice.

Vikki Slade

Our Guest Speaker will be Vikki Slade, former Leader of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council. Vikki is an experienced campaigner and local councillor with a background in financial services and small business. She has also worked in the NHS and the charity sector.

In May 2020, Vikki was elected leader of BCP Council, where she led a cross party cabinet running the 12th largest unitary council in the country before falling victim to an opportunist vote by the Conservative group.
