Following the success of our two pizza and politics events in April and May, we'll be holding these as regular events throughout the year.
Everybody is welcome to share their thoughts - especially if you're new to the party or have never really been involved before.
At our next session we will be talking about race and equality. We have three materials that we really recommend watching/reading before the session (but no worries if you don't have time - we'll provide summary briefings at the beginning, too):
- The Alderdice Report on Race, Ethnic Minorities and the Culture of the Liberal Democrats
- The 1965 Baldwin-Buckley race debate (watch it in full here, or watch this PBS summary here)
- The results of the party's recent diversity survey, which you can read here.
If you've got time, we can also recommend this documentary on the Windrush scandal.
See you there!
