Civil Engineer, Risk Manager, and Solihull Councillor Ade Adeyemo is the perfect candidate who will stand up in Europe for the needs of local residents and businesses, protecting jobs and opportunities for everyone in the West Midlands.
Ade brings with him a wealth of experience. He is a well-known Activist and Campaigner who is standing for election to the European Parliament because he feels that the people of the West Midlands are crying out for a positive voice – someone who represents their values, their aims and aspirations.
“My professional experience shapes how I approach public service. For me, it is all about achieving that important balance between the needs for investment (in schools, hospitals, houses and businesses) and the needs of the people who live, work and go about their daily lives in special places like the West Midlands."
Ade lives with his family in Solihull. He is passionate about our Region, saying, “I entered local government because I care deeply about our Region. I know the West Midlands well because I have lived here for over 22 years. My children all grew up here and this is the place we call home.
“Now is the time to transform the future for the West Midlands, based on a solid foundation of friendship and trade with Europe and the rest of the world. I want to be a good leader for the West Midlands. That starts with being a great listener. By listening to people, I know that we need to address jobs, trade, education, travel and connectivity with Europe and be responsible and sustainable about how we develop our great Region.
"Our people deserve better – a strong voice for the West Midlands. What I am offering is positive change, protecting jobs and ensuring there is opportunity for everyone.”
