Being a Lib Dem Campaigner
As a Liberal Democrat campaigner you will:
- talk to voters on the doorstep about their political views
- run community and election campaigns
- liaise with the media
If you have never campaigned before, please start with the courses grouped under Level 1, which will help you build the necessary skills to start campaigning successfully. If you have some experience, please feel free to start at any point you feel is suitable for you.
Of course, there is no substitute for experience. As well as following this plan, it is essential that you get in touch with a local party near where you are and see some campaigning first hand. You can find contact details for local parties here!
If you are involved in the planning and management of a campaign, you will need to use the party's campaign management database, Connect. There is a huge amount of Connect training available on Oskar. You'll see some recommended courses below, but please also visit the Connect training page, which can be found here.
If you are involved in designing leaflets and other literature for your campaign then you will need to use PagePlus. Training modules for this software can be found here.
Here are the courses available within the campaigner’s learning path.
