The Chinese Liberal Democrats (CLD) was formed to promote closer links between the Party and the Chinese and South East Asian community in the UK.

We have:

  • Supported ethnic SE Asian candidates to stand in Local and Parliamentary elections
  • Campaigned and organised literature that more effectively reaches the Chinese and South East Asian community
  • Raised the profile of the Liberal Democrats in the Chinese press
  • Developed policies to support the needs of ethnic Chinese and South East Asians UK citizens
  • Hosted social events at Party Conferences and networking events for British and Chinese businesses
