Scrap the Windrush Cover-up Clause

A new law before Parliament would enable the Home Office to cover up a future Windrush scandal. 

Using the Data Protection Bill, Ministers are trying to sneak in a clause to remove the data access rights of anyone when it comes to immigration - even if that individual is British.

If this new law goes ahead, the legal right to access your own data on any immigration issue will be taken away: you will not be able to check if Home Office records on you are correct.
