On this page you will find the latest campaigning advice for Liberal Democrat members and volunteers. It is being updated regularly in light of changing circumstances.
The British Safety Council has worked with the Liberal Democrats to help us develop a Covid-19 risk assessment and control measures necessary to manage the risk of possible transmission. It is the responsibility of the local party to review these protocols and consider any additional exceptional circumstances that may apply in your area.
Please remember - apart from paid staff, all party activity is voluntary. Volunteers should feel under no obligation to participate in any party activity. This should be respected by anyone organising such activity, and all members should feel able to remove themselves immediately from any environment in which they feel unsafe.
Guidance may vary depending on which part of the UK you are in, and at certain points there may be localised restrictions in place. You should consult the relevant Government’s guidelines. Any future changes to Government guidance will supersede these protocols.
