David has lived in the Borough of Brentwood for thirty years and currently reside in Blackmore with my son. David owns and operates a small business serving the local community. Prior to that he worked as a SaIes Director for some large companies in the UK.
David has been a Brentwood Borough Councillor for 27 years, representing first Brentwood West and currently Pilgrims Hatch. He has also been an Essex County Councillor for over ten years representing the Brentwood South Division.
As a local councillor David has built a strong reputation for action and getting things done on a wide range of issues and have helped thousands of residents. These issues include campaigning against library closures, trying to get better services for residents with mental health issues, fighting for better bus and rails services, opposing cuts to youth services and home to school transport and fighting to save school crossing patrols across Essex.
Away from politics his hobbies include watching football and most other sports, swimming and socialising with family and friends.
If David is elected as the MP for Brentwood & Ongar he will use his knowledge and understanding of the area to champion residents views at Westminster especially for the old, the young and the most vulnerable in our community. David will always try and make a difference on your behalf by challenging the system and holding the decision makers to account. Please give him your support on polling day.
