David McBride has taught in schools in the local area for over 20 years and lives in Bexley with his family.
David is an experienced community campaigner and was a councillor for 16 years. He has been a trustee of local charities and is still involved in community projects in Bexley.
Living locally, David is aware of the impact of funding cuts on local education services and will campaign in Parliament to make sure schools in Bexleyheath and Crayford get fair funding.
"With a young family I am also extremely concerned about the level of crime and the threat to personal safety in Bexleyheath and Crayford. It is essential that the Police are given the resources to ensure that local residents feel safe in their homes and communities,"" says David."
