Bedford new members' reception

We're holding a reception in Bedford on Sunday 23rd June for anyone who wants to know more about the party - new and not-so-new members included. We will have representatives from the local party and from our council group to answer your questions, including:

  • Liberal Democrat politics - what are the core beliefs that drive our party? Policy is made by you, the members - how do you get started?

  • Campaigning - what do we have to do to get our message across and win elections? Why the obsession with leaflets?!

  • Our local party in Bedford - learn more about Mayor Dave and the Liberal Democrat group on Bedford Borough Council

  • The leadership election - are you voting for Jo or Ed?

There are a wide range of activities you can get involved in with the Liberal Democrats, from delivering leaflets on your street to standing for parliament. Come along and learn how you can make a difference.
