Going to a local Lib Dem event is a great way to get involved and meet new people. And it's not all delivering leaflets either - there are many social events too.
Rob Blackie will be joining us as guest speaker for an evening of Brexit debate and campaign planning.
Rob helped set up the Best for Britain anti Brexit campaign - and serves as a senior adviser there. He has also written extensively on what we need to do to win the next referendum: https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/brexit/2018/12/seven-rules-remainers-if-they-want-win-people-s-vote
Guests of members welcome. Food and drink available to purchase.
Come and help us get councillors elected in Watford!
In Watford, we've got a really important set of local elections coming up. We're defending one of the highest number of wards ever this time round, with several wards being close fights between Labour and the Lib Dems.
We'll be knocking up across our town and there will be committee rooms just a short walk from Watford Junction station.
If you can come and help, please RSVP to this event and email the Watford Lib Dems at firstname.lastname@example.org with what time you are arriving.
Your help is massively appreciated to make sure that we keep Watford as a flagship Lib Dem council.
Join us for an informal meet up to talk politics & party matters over a brew. All members new and old are welcome. There is free parking for up to 3 hours in a nearby car park, and the venue is near Reading Buses routes 22, 23, 27 and 29. It is around a 20 minute walk from Reading town centre.
As a party that exists to build and safeguard a fair, free and open society, we recognise the vital role played by business and enterprise for our nation’s prosperity.
This May, we're hosting a half-day conference to explore the challenges facing the UK, the post-brexit transition and discuss the business policies that have been neglected in the three years since the referendum. Following on from our successful Brexit Minus 365 event last year, we've put together a fantastic programme with Jürgen Maier (CEO of Siemens), Miranda Green (Deputy Opinion Editor at the FT) and our senior parliamentarians on the future of businesses beyond brexit. See the programme here.
Tickets are £50 or discounted at £40 for members of partner organisations, and includes your attendance at the conference, refreshments plus any documentation made available on the day. LDBEN members go free, please get in contact with email@example.com to get your LDBEN pass.
If you are not yet a member of LDBEN, but would like to learn more about the network please get in contact with Joanne Rozeik on 0207 227 1350
