We are delivering our positive vision of building a brighter future, all across our Stirling constituency. Can you help deliver a bundle of leaflets?
Portsmouth South is a winnable parliamentary target seat for the Lib Dems.
It looks to be one of the closest seats in the country. A Survation constituency poll, conducted on 28 and 29 October 2019, has Lib Dems on 30%, Conservatives 27%, Labour 24%, Brexit Party 14%.
Since then the Greens have stepped aside for the Liberal Democrats as part of the 'Unite to Remain' alliance.
Gerald Vernon-Jackson is our candidate. He is Leader of the City Council. We have lots of canvassing and delivery to get out, so do come and help. Campaign HQ is open 10 am til late every day.
Address: 220 Fratton Road, Portsmouth PO1 5HH.
Office Number: 02392 877733
Volunteers needed for mass leafleting in Steventon and The Hanneys. Whatever you can do - a street, a cul-de-sac, an entire village - we need your help!
Richard Benwell, our Parliamentary candidate will be joining us and canvassing the villages with our local councillors.
We will meet at Steventon Village Hall Car Park at 10.00am for leaflet, poster and route map distribution.
Come along - get those steps in, bring the kids, bring the dog! Maybe finish in the pub afterwards - who know!
We look forward to seeing you!!!
If you cannot come to the event but would still like to help - contact Jennie Corrigan by email or by phone and leaflets will be delivered to your door
We are very lucky to have the Lib Dem Leader in the House of Lords, Dick Newby, joining us for a day of campaigning in Harrogate this Sunday.
The office at Strayside House (West Park, HG1 1BJ) will be open from 10am to start the day with delivery and clerical tasks.
At 12.30pm join us for lunch when you will have the chance to ask one of the most senior Lib Dems in the country about the General Election campaign. After lunch there will be the chance to come door knocking or carry on with delivery and clerical jobs.
See you there!
Action Day in the key target seat of Wimbledon.
West Barnes has 3 Lib Dem councillors and is great territory for us but we need help to switch local remain leaning Tories.
This election is our chance to stop Brexit. We need to get our message across to millions of voters. And we are recruiting a huge band of campaigners across the country to help.
Join us for a private briefing where you'll have the chance to learn about our General Election strategy, and critically how you can make a difference.
You'll meet others who feel like you, receive training in how to share our message with voters and have a chance to practise among friends. You'll leave with the skills and knowledge needed - meaning you can volunteer when and where you want.
The consequences of this election will be felt for many years. If you don’t want to be left wondering if you could have done more, come along.
This weekend we will be holding mini-Action Days in Sandy, Biggleswade and Arlesey to distribute the latest campaign leaflet. If you can spare 1-2hrs over the next two weeks (or more!) then please come along and collect a round.
Join us as we speak to voters in Gabalfa about the upcoming general election. There'll be training and support on hand if you haven't canvassed before!
Meeting point TBC
Last weekend we spoke to hundreds of voters in Rushcliffe and it has become obvious that more and more people are now coming to the Lib Dems. We have had Labour members promise to lend us their vote because of Corbyn’s fudge on Brexit and we have had life-long Conservatives disgusted with Johnson’s recklessness backing us for the sake of stability and to Stop Brexit. But, in order to win, we need to talk to more voters. This is now down to maths. The more voters we speak to, the better our chances of returning a Liberal Democrat to Westminster. If you want that to happen, then you have the power to make a difference this weekend.
Meet on Sun 17th in Keyworth, in the Village Hall car park - NG12 5AN
