The next meeting of the Lib Dem Policy Discussion Group for Milton Keynes is at 7pm on Friday 7 June at the Milton Keynes Quaker Centre.
The subject will be decided by those who come.
We have been devoting part of the time to discussing the future of Milton Keynes beyond 2030. Sam Crooks, who has been leading this, says: " The Council's Strategic Plan up to 2050 is due to be unveiled in a Middleton Hall exhibition between 3 and 7 July so I suspect the best way ahead now is to react once we see what the Council has proposed." So that subject is now for the future, unless anyone has anything particular they want to raise about it.
Perhaps the subjects for discussion could include the success of the Lib Dems in the recent local and European elections, how we can make sure this continues, how to handle ourselves in the next few months as media attention focuses on the tory party, and so on.
Please see the parking map below. The Centre has limited parking so it is often best to use the parking at the Cross and Stable in Downs Barn which is only a few minutes walk away.
Hope to see you all there.
