After good election results on 2nd May we'll be campaigning in Newport Pagnell North (an area which has been strongly Lib Dem) with future campaigning planned for Hanslope and the other villages in the ward to make sure residents know they have a real alternative to the Tories in the area. On 2nd May the Tories won in this area with Lib Dems second.
We'll have two campaigning sessions with a break for lunch in the middle - come to all parts you have time for! There will be a choice of delivering leaflets, and also the friendly 'knock and drop' residents surveys, where we leave a survey asking if residents have any problems or things they wish to feed back about locally (something new members do find easier than canvassing).
Plan for the day:
11am Meet by the Portfields Road shops (MK16 8BL) to deliver leaflets or survey nearby residents
1pm - 1:45pm, go for lunch at Red House Pub (1 Wolverton Rd, Newport Pagnell, MK16 8BG)
2pm - 4pm Continue in Portfields area, with some activists moving to deliver/survey in Redhouse Park depending on numbers
This will be a great way for new members to get involved in campaigning in an area where we have a good chance of gaining a seat from the Tories in the future.
The nearest parking is either near the Co-Op in the poets estate, or the Red House where we'll be going for lunch.
