Simone Reynolds grew up in Kent before attending University College London where she graduated with an Honours Degree in Ancient History/Egyptology. Simone then studied for a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at London Guildhall University.
Simone has worked in the mental health/ social care field for over 20 years (including the NHS, Social Services, charities and Housing Associations). Simone currently works as part of a Complex Care Team for a local authority in SE London. This has given Simone much experience around the needs and rights of disabled people.
Simone is the mother of two children who attend mainstream state schools and is therefore aware of the needs of families particularly within the London Borough of Bexley.
Simone previously represented the Liberal Democrats as their candidate for the St.Michael's Ward By-Election in 2016 and as their PPC for Bexleyheath and Crayford Constituency at the 2017 General Election. In 2018 Simone stood as a candidate for Sidcup Ward in the Local Council Elections.
