Theresa May.

Theresa May's Conservatives are now insisting that the UK will leave the Customs Union after Brexit.

The idea that UK will not be in the, or indeed any, Customs Union, confirms that the extreme Brexiters are now in control of the Government.

The Tories’ increasing obsession with putting two fingers up to all things European will only ensure maximum damage is done to our country in the long term.

"Even though the analysis assumes that the UK will agree a trade deal with the US, roll over dozens of the EU’s current trade agreements, and consider loosening regulations after Brexit, there is no scenario that does not leave the country worse off."

Buzzfeed News

Just last week, leaked Government analyses confirmed that leaving the customs union would be one of the most damaging things the Government could do to our economy.

Theresa May’s repeated failure to stand up to the ideological Brexiter wing in her party is reckless and dangerous. She risks derailing our future in an attempt to silence her backbench extremists.

As Theresa May’s vision for Britain becomes bleaker the people must be given a chance to exit from Brexit.
