April 2024


FFRC met on the 4th April. The committee received reports from Human Resources, Finance and the English Party. These presentations were examined and discussed in detail. In addition the Committee received and noted a written report from the Party Treasurer. The committee received a report back from the Chair on his appearance at the English Council with 2 other Chairs which examined the Boards decision in respect of the decision in respect of the Autumn 24 conference. In addition there was a report back in respect of the Internal Audit report presented to the Federal Audit Scrutiny Committee

February 2024

FFRC met on the 6th February. The Committee received reports from Membership, Finance and the Treasurer. These 2023 year end reports were examined and discussed in detail. In addition the committee discussed the alternative for the party in respect of the Autumn conference as a result of the possibility of an autumn General Election in 2024. In addition a workplan for 2024 was presented and agreed.

December 2023

FFRC met on the 13th December. The committee examined and discussed the November management accounts, the current status of a key supplier presented by the President Mark Pack, the Treasurers report and the reports back from representatives from Scotland and Wales. The committee noted the various reports and agreed with the conclusions of the Presidents report.

November 2023

FFRC met on the 15th November 2023. The committee was presented with 2 reports from Head of Compliance in respect of Xero and Unity Bank migration. It was agreed that the Chair and President would write a paper in coordination with the Chairs of FPDC and FCEC to present a paper to the Federal Board. The committee examined and discussed the October Management accounts, The Treasurers reports, a report on the Autumn Conference and a report on the quarterly complaints.

October 2023

FFRC met on  the 11th October. The committee examined and discussed the September management accounts as well as the 2024 budget for the Federal Party which was presented by the Financial Controller. The Committee approved the budget. Additional reports were received, examined and discussed in respect of   membership, the Treasurer and a report back from the English party representative. In addition observations and updates were received from the Chair and the President.

August 2023

FFRC met on the 10th August. The committee examined and discussed the July management accounts as well as the key priorities which would form a part of the 2024 budget. In addition the committee received an update on HR issues, the Treasurers report and a report back from representatives from Wales

July 2023

FFRC met on the 12th July. The committee examined and discussed the June management accounts as well as the first draft of a Medium Term Financial Plan which takes the party to the next General Election in 2029. In addition, the committee received an update from the COO on Disaster recovery, Crisis Management and People Practices. The committee also received, reviewed and discussed a report from the Head of Compliance, the Treasurers report, a membership report and a report back from representatives from Scotland.
