Shop FAQs

  • Leaflets in the Lib Dem Campaign Shop are not editable. If you would like editable templates please sign up for the Lib Dem Campaign Hub at www.libdems.org.uk/access and access the Hub at www.libdems.org.uk/hub

  • We always appreciate your suggestions or feedback. Please use the form here to get in touch.

  • No - anything you order through the portal is a leaflet promoting the party. It won’t be naming individual candidates or the area they are standing in. As these leaflets are not promoting a candidate they don’t have to be declared on the candidates agents on the expenses they will be submitting for that candidate.

  • Party spend is spending that promotes the Liberal Democrats as a party. In parliamentary elections (for Holyrood, the Sennedd and Westminster) party spending is regulated and the party compiles and submits a return of election expenses for these elections.

Candidate spending is the spending in an election campaign which promotes a candidate. This is what their agent needs to control so they stay below the legal maximums and can submit a return of election expenses for their candidate(s). Any material that promotes people to vote for your candidate needs to be declared by the agent for that candidate.

  • No, you will still have to pay for any leaflets that you order through the shop.

  • No, the only route to Party Spend leaflets is to purchase from our shop. All material in the shop has been checked to make sure that it is party spending and means you can use it safely in the knowledge it won’t have to go on any candidates return.

Delivery FAQs

  • All queries about your order should be directed to Election Workshop.

Please email enquiries@electionworkshop.co.uk and they will get back to you as soon as possible. Always include a phone number for them to reach you on.

You can phone Election Workshop on 0161 272 6216 from 9am until 6pm. They are often available until a little later, and during elections much later and at the weekend.

  • You can order leaflets to be delivered with a 3 or 5 working day turnaround.

For five working days, order by 10am Friday for delivery the following Thursday. For three working days, order by Tuesday 10am for delivery by Thursday.

If you need the print for the weekend do not order for a Friday delivery. It will generally arrive then, but like other printers we use couriers and they sometimes have issues with staff, weather, addresses etc. There is often not a lot that can be done to reliably fix the situation over the weekend. Also machine break downs happen. So to avoid a wasted weekend please order a day earlier so that there is some slack.

Delivery times are extended (by DPD, our courier) by 2-3 days for the following postcodes:

    • AB10-AB35, AB31-AB56
    • DD1-DD10
    • EH1-EH37, EH47-EH48, EH49
    • FK1-FK16, FK16-FK21
    • G1-G5, G9, G33-G34, G51-G53, G67-G68, G74-G78, G81-G84
    • IV1-IV99
    • KA1-KA26, KA27-KA28
    • KW1-KW17
    • KY1-KY5, KY6-KY10, KY13
    • ML1-ML11
    • PA1-PA19, PA20-PA80
    • PH1-PH2, PH15-PH50
  • Once the parcel has been handed over to DPD, they require the recipient to make any changes, so you need to use the link in your despatch confirmation email or ring DPD quoting the tracking number found in your despatch confirmation email.

If the delivery is not convenient, you can add instructions such as:

    1. Reschedule to a later day
    2. Leave with a neighbour
    3. Leave at a Drop Shop
