End Dental Deserts

NHS dentistry is in crisis, with millions of people unable to access basic care. Across the country, so-called “dental deserts” have emerged where no NHS dentists are taking on new patients.

The Liberal Democrats have set out a £750 million Dental Rescue Plan to restore access to NHS dentistry and reverse this decline.

This includes reforming the broken dental contract to bring dentists back into the NHS from the private sector, and introducing emergency measures to guarantee free dental check-ups for children, pregnant women, new mothers, and people on low incomes.
