Helen Morgan

MP for North Shropshire

Helen Morgan

Helen lives with her family in Harmer Hill and worked as the financial controller of a local company before being elected as the MP for North Shropshire in December 2021.

Helen has made it her mission to stand up for local people in Parliament, speaking more than 200 times and helping constituents with more than 16,000 pieces of casework in just two years.

She believes that rural areas like Shropshire have been neglected by Westminster for far too long.

Helen’s hard work has already secured 52 new beds for local hospitals, funding for step-free access at Whitchurch station and the reopening of the Oswestry to Gobowen railway line.

Helen is determined to keep working to make sure everyone in North Shropshire has access to the services they need. She has tabled new laws that would improve phone signal and access to public transport in rural areas while campaigning persistently for improved GP and dental access.

She cares deeply about North Shropshire and, having been re-elected, has pledged to work harder than ever both in North Shropshire and in Parliament.
