Roz Savage
MP for South Cotswolds

Roz was elected MP for South Cotswolds on 4 July 2024.
Prior to her election, she took on global challenges and succeeded. She is the first woman to row single-handedly across three oceans, the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian – doing this to raise awareness of environmental issues.
Roz has been recognised by the UN for her tireless commitment to tackling climate change. She spoke at the UN Oceans Conference in June 2024 highlighting the important role our oceans can play in addressing our climate challenges. Roz has taken the energy and determination that propelled her around the world against the odds into parliament to champion her constituents and the communities across the South Cotswolds.
As the MP, Roz is working hard on local NHS issues including GP surgeries and access to dentists to ensure local people can access the healthcare they need when they need it. She’s also focussed on doing what she can to champion the interests of people who are struggling with the cost of living and challenging government policies which will make their lives more difficult.
Roz’s priorities:
Campaigning for improvements in our NHS
Helping people with the cost of living
Demanding action on sewage in rivers and domestic flooding
Championing nature recovery and nature-based solutions to the climate emergency
Working across the South Cotswolds to build stronger, more supportive and more sustainable communities
Roz brings a fresh perspective to parliament and to her role as constituency MP. She stood for parliament to improve the lives of the people of South Cotswolds and is focussed on doing that every day.
