Davey: Conservative Ministers failed bereaved families

Responding to the COVID Inquiry that heard Boris Johnson was "obsessed with older people accepting their fate and letting the young get on with life and the economy going", Leader of the Liberal Democrats Ed Davey said:

"This inquiry is painting a clear picture of a Conservative Party totally unfit to govern our country.

"Every shocking revelation is another devastating blow to the families who lost loved ones to COVID. It is hard to hear how badly Conservative Ministers failed them, our NHS and our country.

"The British people deserve the chance to hold the Conservatives to account at a General Election, and kick them out of power for good."
