Corridor care: More hollow promises are an insult to patients

Responding to Wes Streeting's pledge to end corridor care, Liberal Democrat Health Spokesperson Helen Morgan MP said:

“Corridor care shames this country and it has been tolerated for too long, leaving patients without the vital care they deserve. So far, all we have seen from the Government is hollow promises. there’s little investment and no plan. What an insult to patients.

"Liberal Democrats will continue to be the party that champions the NHS. That is why we have launched a plan to end the scandal of corridor care within a year, guaranteed in law. By investing in our hospitals, in social care and in supporting family carers we can rescue our broken health service."
