Davey: PM must stand firm against Trump’s bullying

Responding Responding to Donald Trump’s latest comments on the war in the Middle East, Liberal Democrat Leader Ed Davey said:

“The Prime Minister must stand firm against Trump’s bullying and avoid getting sucked further into this illegal and damaging war.

“Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage want Britain to blindly follow Trump into his reckless war even though the President has no clear plan for what comes next and the impact on British people will be higher petrol and energy bills.

“There is nothing patriotic about outsourcing Britain’s foreign policy to Donald Trump and cheerleading for higher fuel and heating bills.”
