Davey: PM must use G20 summit to call for Russia to be removed from group

Commenting ahead of the first day of the G20 summit in South Africa, Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey said:
“Putin's ambitions to conquer Ukraine and recreate the Russian Empire pose a once-in-a-generation threat to the whole of Europe. We cannot allow Trump to reward his aggression.
“It is unconscionable that Putin has been allowed sway over international diplomacy for so long. The Prime Minister must use this opportunity to call for Russia to be removed from the G20.”
