GDP: Figures can't hide Govt's mismanagement

Responding to the latest GDP figures, the Liberal Democrat Treasury Spokesperson Sarah Olney MP said:

“Today’s figures can’t hide the fact that the Government's economic mismanagement has left our economy flagging. 

“Last week we saw Hunt’s desperate attempt to cling to power with a budget that had no proper plan for growth and failed to deliver for families who continue to see their paycheck stretched to the limit. 

“It’s clear for all to see that the Government’s promise to grow the economy is in absolute tatters, and without a General Election, people will continue to pay the price.”
