Govt GP announcement "not worth the paper it’s written on"

Responding to the Government announcement on GP access, Liberal Democrat Health Spokesperson Daisy Cooper MP said:
"The Conservatives have broken their promise to recruit 6000 more GPs leaving patients struggling to get the care they need when they need it.
"Accessing faster care is critical for patients but Ministers just don't seem to grasp the scale of the problem.
"Without a serious plan to recruit the pharmacists and GPs that our NHS needs, this could be yet another Conservative health pledge not worth the paper it’s written on."
