HS2 review: Govt must not delay further

Following a report into HS2, which reveals a “litany of failure” that has driven up costs by £37 billion, Liberal Democrat Transport Spokesperson Paul Kohler MP said:

"The Conservative government's shocking mismanagement of HS2 has resulted in years of delays and billions of pounds of taxpayers' money being poured down the drain.

"The current Government needs to make sure any money lost to fraud is clawed back and there are no further delays. Failing in this would only add insult to injury for taxpayers who have waited long enough."
