Lib Dems: Badenoch must rule out "a chaotic coalition with Farage" to protect the economy

Responding to Kemi Badenoch's speech where she challenged Andy Burnham to avoid a summer of chaos and to take steps to grow the economy, Daisy Cooper MP, Liberal Democrat Deputy Leader, said:

“This is a bit rich coming from the Conservatives who plunged Britain into so many crises, from Brexit, the Liz Truss Mini-budget, dodgy covid contracts and a cost of living crisis.

"The Conservatives have done more to damage our economy than anyone else. They are the last people who should be anywhere near the public purse.

"If Badenoch is concerned about stopping chaos, she should rule out a chaotic coalition with Farage that would without a doubt torpedo our economy."
