Lib Dems launch attack ad campaign on grifter Farage
Following the news that Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has made almost £500,000 promoting gold since January last year during a cost of living crisis, the Liberal Democrats have launched an attack ad across social media slamming Farage for being more interested in lining his pockets over caring about hard working Brits.
This is a man Kemi Badenoch would help put into Number 10.
Liberal Democrat Cabinet Office spokesperson Lisa Smart MP said:
“It’s a disgrace that whilst the country grapples with the cost of living crisis, Nigel Farage is busy flogging gold bullion to line his own pockets.
“Whether it’s cosplaying as a bullion salesman, growing his property portfolio or that £5million 'reward' for Brexit, this all leaves an increasingly damaging impression that Farage is simply using public office as a way to make a quick buck for himself.
“Liberal Democrats would immediately put an end to any MP being able to peddle specific financial service and products to the public in the way Nigel Farage is doing.”
