Mandelson severance payout: “Immediately donate every penny to charities supporting victims”

Responding to reports that Peter Mandelson received a five-figure payout after being sacked as Ambassador to the US last September, Liberal Democrat deputy leader Daisy Cooper MP said:

“It’s outrageous that Mandelson pocketed tens of thousands in severance pay after being sacked in disgrace over his links to Epstein. To keep this money is a total insult to the public and a slap in the face to survivors.

“If he has any shred of decency left he would immediately donate every penny to a charity supporting victims of sexual abuse.”
