Oxfordshire waste dump arrest: local MP calls for urgent clean up alongside investigation

Responding to news that a man has been arrested over the huge pile of fly-tipped waste dumped in a field in Oxfordshire, Calum Miller, MP for Bicester and Woodstock commented: 

“I welcome this development. It is essential that those criminals responsible for the illegal dumping in Kidlington are held to account.

“Progress in the investigation must be accompanied by urgent steps to clear the site. Residents have waited far too long, an environmental catastrophe looms and the Government and the Environment Agency must now deliver a full clean up without delay.”
