Peter Bone suspension: Sunak must remove the Conservative whip

Responding to the report from the Commons independent expert panel suggesting Peter Bone should be suspended for six weeks for bullying and sexual harassment, Liberal Democrat Chief Whip Wendy Chamberlain MP said:

“Rishi Sunak needs to remove the whip from Peter Bone and call on him to resign. There is no place anywhere in our society for this kind of sexual harassment and bullying.

“Sunak spent months failing to stand up to Nadine Dorries after she abandoned her constituents, the least he could do now is act swiftly now.

“The country deserves so much better than this endless Conservative Party sleaze and scandal."
