Post Office Inquiry report “lays bare the horrific damage that this scandal has caused”

Responding to the publication of the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry’s first report, Liberal Democrat Business Spokesperson Sarah Olney MP said:

“This report lays bare the horrific damage that this scandal has caused and the lives it has ruined. This must focus the Government’s minds to get victims the compensation and justice they deserve as soon as possible.

“It is shocking that those that have been wronged have had to wait this long for their rightful compensation and justice. The Government needs to move at speed and bring an end to this unacceptable delay.

“The Government must also learn from today’s report so that this can never happen again. That means implementing all of Sir Wyn’s recommendations without delay so that no one has to go through anything like this ever again.”
