Summary: Somerset is one of the Liberal Democrats' great South West success stories, since winning control of the Council in 2022, the party has gained 6 MPs in the county. May 2027 is a critical test of whether that progress continues, and this role sits right at the centre of the fight to keep Somerset Council under Liberal Democrat control.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Campaigns Organiser to build the volunteer infrastructure, organise doorstep activity, and co-ordinate campaigning across the whole county ahead of what will be one of our most important local election campaigns in years. You'll work alongside a team of committed local organisers, with direct mentoring and support from the Regional Campaigns Manager — a route that's proven itself as a strong way to build real campaign skills fast.

● Maintain and update websites to keep supporters and residents informed.
Support for Elected Representatives:
● Support local councillors campaigning activity across Somerset.
● Provide practical support for local councillors in their local campaigns.
