Panel Member: National Reputational Risk Review Panel

Every Parliamentary applicant goes through a due diligence check and we're setting up a National Panel of experienced communications professionals to make that process consistent, fair and properly documented.

Time commitment: Ad hoc, picked up via WhatsApp as reports come in. 5 working day turnaround.

Location: Fully remote.

Pay: Voluntary.

What the role will include:

• Reviewing due diligence reports against a clear, documented set of criteria.
• Helping build a consistent, precedent-based approach across the whole country.
   

What we're after from you:

You understand public life and the media
 - Experience in communications, journalism or public affairs, so you can judge what's genuinely significant and what isn't.

You're impartial
-You judge what's in the report, not who the person is, where they're standing, or who you know.

You can explain your reasoning clearly
 - A rating on its own isn't enough — you can set out, in writing, exactly why.

You're responsive
 - You can turn a case round within the timeframe when one comes your way.
