How can you be more sustainable?
- Use public transport to get to and from the conference
- If you are unable to use public transport, please try to car share by reaching out to your local party/ social media
- Use the agenda & directory online instead of paying for a hard copy
- Use the conference app instead of paying for a hard copy agenda & directory
- Bring your own water bottle and refill at the complimentary water stations in the venues
- Bring your own reusable, clean coffee cup (must be in good condition) which you can use when purchasing your coffee at the main venue. Alternatively buy a reusable cup at the Lib Dem Image exhibition stand
- Recycle any plastics, paper etc in the recycling bins at the official venues
- Hand in your lanyard and badge holder as you leave the event so we can reuse it (badge holders are needed as otherwise the print on the badges gets worn off over the days resulting in more printing)
- Eat plant based food - this is often considered better for the environment because they require fewer resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and minimize land use compared to animal-based diets
Other items to note
- Exhibitors are encouraged to take home their unused leaflets to use at future events
