Candidates standing for election need to gain a number of nominations from other members. Find out how you can nominate someone else here.
Candidates wanting to stand for party positions need to gain a number of nominations from ordinary members in order to make it onto the ballot. You can only submit nominations online for this round of elections. The process of nominating someone is simple:

Our elections are run to a process, timeline and rules specified in the Constitution.

The Election Regulations are the rules under which the election is run. The Candidate Guidance is a supplementary document designed to help candidates comply with those rules in a practical way. You'll also find a published timetable for the elections and a selection of frequently asked questions.
If you're concerned that a candidate or another member may have broken the election rules, you can raise a concern with the Returning Officer here.
If you believe that a candidate or another member may be breaking the election rules it's important that you raise that with the Returning Officer as soon as possible, to make sure our elections are free and fair.
You can raise a concern by completing the "Report a concern" form linked below, which will then be sent onto the Returning Officer.
Your report will be treated as confidential, but you will need to provide the Returning Officer with as much information as you have to enable them to look into your concern.
