Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Liverpool Riverside Constituency

The Local Party Executive of Liverpool Liberal Democrats invite applications for selection as the Prospective Westminster Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency of Liverpool Riverside. Applications must be received by the Returning Officer no later than 13:00 on Sunday 8 March

Liverpool Riverside Constituency represents the historic waterfront of the city, including the areas of Anfield and Kirkdale. The constituency is home to the famous Liver building and football stadiums home to Everton and Liverpool football clubs.

The constituency was redrawn in 2023 and first contested in the 2024 general election. In the previous election we had a vote share of 4.8%. Locally we currently hold a number of the local council seats within the constituency and aim to increase this further in our next local elections in 2027.

We believe this constituency is a prime area growing Liberal democrat presence within the city, and we are looking for an enthusiastic PPC to lead this campaign.

• A signed Candidate Statement & Diversity Form
