Ready for the Spotlight?
Are you able to present well on TV, and in the media in general – the local party is on manoeuvres to find a candidate in what is going to be a media war of a seat. The local party are looking for a star performer who can present well on the air waves and on TV. In this media target seat where historically the Liberal Democrats have come second, we are in search of a candidate who can inspire the masses and create a sense of winnability. We don’t have sea-side or palm trees but we are one of the most beautiful constituencies in the country. Massive opportunity to help grow the local party.
ARE YOU WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
Applicants, who must be on the approved list, should provide:
- A personal manifesto/CV of no more than two sides of A4, to be included in the member mailing at the start of the campaign
- Their contact details
- A completed candidate declaration and diversity form here to the Returning Officer, Dan Widdon by the closing date Friday March 6 th 2026 18:00:00. Contact
