The Local Party Shortlisting Committee for Angus and Mearns invite applications for selection as a Prospective Scottish Parliamentary Candidate for the Angus North and Mearns Constituency.

Potential applicants should contact the Returning Officer Iain Smith, 14 Melville Road, Ladybank, Cupar, Fife KY15 7LU, 07740 731651, iainsmith675@btinternet.com, for an Application Pack.

Applications must be received by the Returning Officer by 12 Noon on Monday, 16 June 2025.

Applicants not currently on the Party’s list of Approved Candidates may only apply if they are currently seeking approval. The Returning Officer can explain the approval process. 

It is the responsibility of applicants to check that their applications have been received by the Returning Officer by the closing date.
