Prospective Westminster Parliamentary Candidate for Clwyd North

Parliamentary Candidate Selection: Clwyd North

The Local Party Executive of Clwyd North Liberal Democrats invites applications for the selection of a Prospective Westminster Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency of Clwyd North. Applications must be received by the Returning Officer no later than 12 noon on 31st July 2026.

Please complete all of the forms linked below to submit your application:

1. The Candidate Application Form 
2. The Candidate Statement & Diversity Form (also available in a Welsh Version).
3. The Candidates’ Compact 

Separately, please email the following documents to the Returning Officer:

• Election Artwork: This should be a political CV or manifesto, limited to a single side of A4 in PDF format. This document will be included in the e-ballot and member mailing. An additional A4 page may be submitted in Welsh identical to the English version.

Applicants are responsible for ensuring their submission is confirmed as received by the Returning Officer prior to the closing time of 12 noon on 31st July 2026.
